Your Onboarding Checklist
The initial days on a new job are always special. We want you to feel quickly feel at home. To set you up for success, we have created a checklist to make sure you complete important tasks in your first few weeks at Bayer. Additionally, your supervisor and department will have other activities that round out your onboarding process. Note: Several of the links in the checklist cannot be accessed until your first day when you are connected to the Bayer network.

Key People Involved in Your Onboarding Process
You will be welcomed by your manager and introduced to your team. Your manager will discuss your tasks with you, give you an outlook for the upcoming weeks and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Your Buddy takes care that your onboarding process is conducted effectively to ensure you are successfully integrated into your job. The Buddy will meet with you regularly to provide feedback and answer any questions or concerns you have.
Each Bayer employee is supported by a Human Resources Partner. If you are unsure of who your Human Resources Partner will be, ask your Manager or Onboarding Buddy. Your Human Resources Partner is another resource to assist you throughout the onboarding process.
You also play an important role in the onboarding process. At the beginning there will certainly be several rounds of introductions. Take a look at the way the team interacts, this will make it easier for you to get to know each other better. Do not be surprised if you do not understand all terms, just ask to get to know them. For new tasks, it is best to clarify at the beginning their schedule, persons involved and the criteria that must be met. Get feedback from time to time and share your expectations and concerns with your manager.
